Annually Wacker Chemie AG presents “Distributor of the Year” Awards to recognize outstanding results and achievements by their distributor partners. Awards are presented on a global basis with four performance achievement categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. The performance criteria for the 2009 awards were based on a combination of sales performance metrics and effective interaction with Wacker’s business teams. The Brenntag Americas companies receiving awards are: Platinum: Brenntag Specialties, Brenntag Great Lakes Gold: Brenntag Southeast Silver: Brenntag Canada, Brenntag Columbia, Brenntag Guatemala, Brenntag Mexico, Brenntag Mid-South, Brenntag Northeast Consolidated results: Gold: Brenntag North America Silver: Brenntag Latin America The Wacker portfolio as distributed by Brenntag includes silicones, fumed silica and polymer products sold into industries such as construction, chemical process, coating, adhesive, sealant, elastomer, personal care and food.
